  "We have been to Oneonta two other times and was looking for something different and something the kids would like too.. and we found this place via trip advisor...It was great! My dad and I had their specialty... the 1/2 barbequed chicken. It was awesome! The chicken practically melted in your mouth..."...it was that good. The baked potatoes we had were great too. One of my kids had a cheeseburger, loved it, and my other one had the chicken fingers... but these things were big! I think they were the whole hand! :-) but he loved them, I tried a bite and they had a great fresh taste. Our dinners came with FRESH bread (yum) and a salad bar... the salad bar was kind of old school... less than a dozen things to pick from, but everything was fresh and tasted great. We had to save room for dessert... my dad had the blueberry pie, I had the coconut pie, the kids apple pie/strawberry ice cream, and my brother in law the tapioca... all around everything was an epic win!   "Chose the restaurant randomly as we were staying in the area and unfamiliar with dining. We were very pleased. It is very casual, family type venue. Menu had a lot of "comfort food" and it was actually difficult to chose an entree, they all sounded so good. One of the teenagers wanted breakfast (ser..."ved all day) but the breakfast meals were HUGE and she was sure she could not possibly eat it all. The server suggested she opt for the children's breakfast. The children's size was plentiful and she left full. I opted for the meatloaf, it was absolutely delicious. Everyone else in our party was very pleased with their selections. Service was excellent, very friendly staff, helpful, service was quick. We would definitely return to Morey's for casual, home cooked meals again when visiting Oneonta. I can think of no negatives when describing this restaurant. " More >
