  "I mentioned in my last review I wasn't sure I would go back to Poole's because of the ridiculous wait time. Well, a very good friend who relocated out of Michigan a few years ago and was back in town for a visit wanted to have lunch at Poole's. And so we went. It was the tail end of the lunch hour (approx 1:15) and the patio was still a bit more than half full (well, it was a Friday) but we were immediately seated. The service was fast and friendly and the menu selection was excellent. Five star rating for lunch on all counts Dinner hour...well, that is still left to be seen and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to convince my husband to go again. Poole's has extended patio seating to an area that I believe may have previously been city owned. I'm not certain but for whatever reason; alcohol cannot be served beyond the perimeter of the original patio. I hope but have no idea if they ask patrons while seating during peak din... " More >
