We ordered the Ethiopian dinner, presented on a round platter that contains small mounds of cooked cabbage chunks, spic..."y lentils, cold lentils, cooked dry yellow peas, mildly spiced lentils, a potato, green bean, carrot medley, spicy beef and two kinds of tender chicken. On the side are folded rounds of white bread and wheat bread, although the bread is quite soft and malleable—very much like crepes. We were given hot towels to wash our hands. The meal is enjoyed by tearing off bits of bread to scoop up the mounds of vegetables and meat. We could have requested seconds of any of the items on the platter but the plate for two is rather filling, as you might imagine, because of the bread. Blue Nile has a pleasant and exotic ambiance.
