I was starving when I g..."ot there, so of course everything looked good but I landed on Wood Roasted Maine Mussels, Wood Grilled Softshell Crab, and Sautéed Fiddleheads. The mussels were decadent and with the recommendation from the bartender to add frites to the mussel broth, I was in heaven. Spring mussels in Maine are HUGE, sweet, and to have them roasted instead of steamed or sautéed brought on a whole new level of yum. The fiddleheads, also sautéed in butter and topped with gremolata were light and flavorful. The softshell crab was by far the most interesting (in a good way) dish.
