They passed the fresh chips and salsa test right off the bat and the food that we had was all real good. I had a shredded beef chimichanga, my boys shared a side dish of chicken flautas that came with lettuce, guacamole and sour cream and grandma had the taco salad. We were overall very happy with our food and experience and I am sure we will visit again on a future road trip through the area. We were greeted warmly and promptly and shown to a nice table at the front of the restaurant because of "it had the best view" according to the hostess. Deirdre, our server, was a delight: fast, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She help..."ed us with suggestions, as this was our first visit. Her enthusiasm for the quality of food served was evident as she gave us a list of her very favorite items on the menu, most of which we ended up ordering . The first of which was their wonderful blackened tuna, with the addition of their cognac cream sauce on top. The tuna steak was cooked to our preference and tasted great with the sauce she recommended. We also tried the lemon chicken almondine dish which was also delicious.
