  "My family took me to the Laurel Diner on Mothers day. The line was out the door which wasn't a surprise, but the wait wasn't very long because Pete (I asked the owner/grill cooks name, and it actually happened to be his lovely wife Stephanie who waited on us) is like a machine on that grill! I don't..." know how he does what he does, but he does it so fast as with such ease. Come to find out, his sister-in-law was cooking with him (Stephanie's sister). They seemed to make a great team at the grill. Thats another thing that I like about this place. It's family owned and operated...I believe that aspect is very important, especially in a restaurant...they also make you feel like family. The staff is always smiling, I saw them joking around...it's a pleasant, fast paced environment that is great to be in.
