  "My aunt raved about Captain Jacks, so a few days after my uncle died, we went here to get her out of the house and to have a nice meal. Our group (my aunt, my boyfriend, a family friend, me) arrived super early to beat the rush and ended up having to wait an hour in the bar before the dining room..." opened. The bar has strong classic drinks and the seating area is dark, surrounded by aquariums. The bar has a feel like it had it's hey-day sometime in the 70's! Along with our drinks, we shared the delicious crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer. The dining room is a lot less dark than the bar. We were seated by the window that overlooked a water way and it was a nice view. The ambiance is so-so at Captain Jacks, but it is more than made up for by the fabulous food. Our server was super nice and even suggested sharing since the portions are so huge.
