  "I found the inside of Bones to be fun and unpretentious - just as any good BBQ pit should be. The ceiling and many walls are covered in adorned $1 bills left by customers. There are plenty of Mardi Gras/Dia De Los Muertos skulls around the bar and even a cool "Jigsaw" doll from from the Saw (horror)..." films. A simple, somewhat small dining area is accented by a great ocean view. You get the feeling that a lot of locals come to the restaurant and the wait staff is a little wary of "out of towners" but that really didn't faze me. I hung out around the bar area while waiting for our to-go order and the woman behind the bar seemed really nice. A bit guarded at first but nice. We ordered a half-chicken and a 3-way combo with short ribs, brisket and pulled pork. The sides were potato salad, New Orleans pasta salad, and coleslaw.
