  "I usually park, go in an order a combo of crayfish and Snoek, then grab a bottle of Cape Riesling from the bottle store just up the road, come back and borrow some wine glasses and an opener from the restaurant, then go sit at benches and table on the harbour and eat / drink to my heart's content. G..."enerally I end the meal by throwing chips up in the air for sea gulls to catch as I could not finish all the food. Sometimes I even ask them to deliver my take away down to the bench, or if it is windy you can sit inside their restaurant which has been enlarged several times to keep up with the increased demand. Once when I asked for my meal to be sent down to the bench, the elderly owner said "the bench, I served at the bench for many years', he is a retired judge. Fish is straight out the sea which of course is in front of you, great view of the boats and naval ships at anchor. " More >
