Unfortunately, the stream was little more than a trickle so we had lunch instead. Good choice. The excellent service was almost like being at home--friendly and direct. Since my wife and I are "getting on" we shared a chicken wrap sandwich that couldn't have been better. We also shared a hot fudge sundae that was as good as any we've ever had. What makes Kohl's Ranch very special is the old west atmosphere. The building was construted using logs and natural wood, much like the Yellowstone Lodge. You can almost feel Zane Grey's presence. Service was almost as good as the food, nothing really worth complaining about, just could have been a little faster on bringing the check I thought... but they were busy b..."oth times (because the food was so good!). Prices about same as in the city, $12-$20 for steak depending on cut, ribs around $15/half, $19/full I think.
