"This place is a must! It is all homemade in the actual home you eat in. Very cozy, friendly atmosphere. You can call ahead and tell the cook what you want for dinner or just show up and have whatever is on the menu for the night. We had the "osso buco" which was amazing. It must be ordered at least ..."a day in advance because it is cooked for 18-24 hours! The road to the house is a small dirt path that is easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled

"Front desk person at Red Wine Club called to get directions for us. We found L'Obrador, but with some difficulty as roads are not well marked and one is not expecting to turn off a main road onto a dirt driveway and end up at someone's finca. The owner greeted us with handshakes and a friendly smile..." and we were treated to a rare example of true Argentine hospitality. Our meal was determined for us by the owner as we could not converse with him in Spanish. He rewarded us with a delicious array of homemade wine, homemade sausage, olives, etc. and then a main course of the most delicious beef pot roast with potatoes. The flavors, ambiance and friendly atmosphere will remain with us forever.
