"Could not believe there is such a gem in the mountain of Costa Rica. Very good, very Costa Rican, must try. It is a little difficult to find, so be sure to get direction in advance. It's worth your trouble. Costa Rican beef is usually not great but they were able to work their magic. Their lamb..." dishes were exceptional as well. Services were VERY relax and friendly. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner or for non-budget travelers who enjoy great food.

"The drive up is kind of daunting, but once you're there, the view is spectacular! We passed livestock on the way up; all organic and belonging to the restaurant!
The walkway is awesome and we were seated promptly. Maybe 4 other couples there... all recommending the Benedictus Steak, which 3 at ..."our table had.
The ceviche was fantastic, wine very good. The only reason why they got 4 out of 5 is because no one's steak at the table was cooked correctly. I asked for medium and it was beyond rare. However, when I got it cooked to my liking, it was amazing! Very good for the price... two couples with beer, wine and apps cost us $150! Total! Yum

One morning, a woman was making tortillas by hand and also, frying choriadas to be eaten hot with sour cream or tropical syrups. Our waiter brought us glasses of tropical fruit juices each morning squeezed from the actual fruit -- not some watered d...
