The restaurant (more of a front room of the owners's house) is very un-Japanese; it's packed to the roof with cat artwork, books,CDs..not to mention a rather cute cat. The clientele (there's only room for ten people sitting at the ba..."r) are a mixture of locals and tourists - we were treated to a jazz piano session by one of the the locals and some acoustic rock by another whilst chatting with a charming you h lady who wanted to practice her English.. We were kept entertained! The food is strictly vegetarian - no dashi in the Mizo soup, no egg and no dairy products used on the food.
