"One of the finest restaurants in Cappadocia. The food is really excellent and we had lot of options to chose from the wide menu (as some of us don't eat beef). We had lamb shank, okra and meat, stuffed chicken with spinach and stuffed vegetables. And all of them stood up to the reputation of the pla..."ce. Also the host recommended us some local wine which was perfect to our liking and blended well with the food on the plate. As we were staying in Urgup they recommended some nice places to eat close by, never seen someone doing that before. Excellent place and must visit if one is in Cappadocia.

"At first we discovered this place because we wanted to eat some döner the night we arrived in town. All I have to say is that the 3 nights we stayed in Göreme, we went there to have dinner every evening!
The place is small and hidden in a corner just beside a market so it makes it not easy to find...." However, once you go in, you want to stay! The food is delicious and very well prepared by an excellent chef. The vegetables are fresh, the meat (both lamb and chicken) is well grilled and the presentation of the dishes is beautiful. The portions are also big and worth the price. By the way, yo have to try the Pottery Kebab, the specialty of Kapadokya.
Finally, there's a friendly ambiance and the service is excellent. Speaking of which, Cesar, the server, is a very cool guy! He's honest when you ask him for suggestions about the food and very friendly. It's like you have known him for years!
So don't forget to go to Sarmasik to have dinner or lunch in Göreme! It's a shame that every time ...
