  "We waited for a break in the rapidly-approaching monsoon and marched across town to eat here - despite really just wanting to stay in - and we're glad we made the effort. In fact, we went back the next night for seconds... We received a warm welcome and great service from the owner's son (perhaps?...") as well as the owner, who came around to make sure all was ok, explaining how certain dishes were prepared, and tell us a little about the centre the restaurant is housed in. Food: just amazing. We tried both the chicken and the beef dosas, and the chicken stew, and the beef puttu. All *highly* recommended, as are the coconut and jaggery pancakes. Sinfully divine. And both bills were incredibly good value for money. My only suggestion: a little less Enrique Iglasias on the stereo! :-) " More >

  "We went there a few times during our stay,must say it was a lovely find :) Food was absolutely lovely,a must if u'r looking for local cuisine. Was extremely clean and very good value for monely. When the waiters n managers realised we were foreigners they were quite helpful abt explaining the cuisin..."e to us.Was always busy as locals eat there too,so u know the food is good. Was quite easy to get to from our hotel (Taj malabar) just take a ferry over,n then a tuk-tuk to the hotel. " More >
