  "The restaurant is a sunny cafe with a varied menu. No wine or beer is served. We ordered the chicken satay appetizer which gave us six skewers of grilled chicken with peanut sauce and cucumbers. We went with medium, this was perfect for us. They will bring additional peppers to increase the heat but if you order something too spicy, you're stuck with it. Our server, Cheyenne, did a good job of waiting on us and bring plates of food but at no time did empty plates leave the table.   "Stella Vita is another surprise for the town of Alamogordo, known mostly for its fast food restaurants. The atmosphere is best described as fine dining, and is probably the best in Alamogordo. The food was very good, the waitress was excellent, and the ambience was great. Decent wine selection too..."! My "almost an excellent rating" was because one of my friends had to send his Rib Eye back. He had asked for Medium Well and it came to him more rare than my Medium Rare Rib Eye. While perfection is not attainable and I would be willing to cut them some slack, because everything else was so great, but he shared that it was the second time in recent visits that he had to do that.
