"The food is very good (traditional French), with a great wine list and very accommodating service, and best of all, it's open late as well as on Sunday evenings. I ate there several times, thoroughly enjoying each meal, from a pig-out on pâté de fois gras with a dozen oysters and champagne one nigh..."t to cassoulet another, and beef Bourguignon another. The place saved my bacon more than once, because I am a late diner, and very weirdly for Latin America, Santiago in general doesn't seem to be.
It's clearly a very happening place, and one hears many languages spoken there. It's definitely not cheap, though, and they don't have take-out, even if you have leftovers, so don't order more than you plan to eat there. I lost some of my enthusiasm for it when I discovered Le Bistrot across the courtyard which is every bit as good, if not better, and cheaper to boot, but I'd still totally go back.

"Great food in a beautiful yet unsophisticated restaurant.
I had the ceviches and if you like spicy food, you really should try it. Just delicious. With that I had the veal, it was also very good. However, I had the impression that the lamb of the person who I was dining with, had the same sauce. Bo..."th were really good.
They have a rather large selection of wines. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
I would say that it's an expensive place but for us it was worth it.

"My wife and I eat here on April 31st, we ordered "centolla" (king crab) and was excellent, good selection of wine. The place is very clean and the staff is helpful. But the prices are not so cheap. Well you have to keep in mind it is a touristic place and Santiago is not a cheap city."
