The food delivery was timely and certainly worth the modest price. Our group enjoyed various pastas, made on location; along with homemade sauces that featured fresh vegetables, salmon, and what can only be described as "perfect" sausage. A personal recommendation for this establishment for those of us that visit from out of town: Please place a sign at the entrance explaining that customers should pick up a menu, make selections, and then approach the cashier/attendant with a complete order.   "We were riding around downtown Athens looking for a place to eat lunch. We couldn't believe how hard it was to find something that looked good. We pulled over to look at another restaurant and that's when we saw Ted's. Such a large, inviting patio and it was such a nice day, we had to try it out...." While we were waiting for our food, somebody actually came out and wiped our table because it was a windy Spring day and the pollen was as thick as fog. Very nice touch.   "So normally, one only gets to pick two of those descriptions in any equation. Taqueria del Sol in Athens legitimately claims the rare quality of breaking that rule as they own all three. The place is my Friday lunch staple. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, the chips and salsa aren't a given..." -- you do have to order those as a side, but there is enough to share. And the wait staff will keep the chips coming if you run out. The salsa trio is house-made as is evidenced by the slight variations with the seasons depending on which fresh ingredients are available. (when new peppers are available...you'll know it!)
