The waiter quickly brought very good chips and salsa, and also a small dish of cheese sauce is complementary with these. We order..."ed off the menu and had excellent tacos and enchiladas; the horchata is wonderful if you've never tried it (a sweet Mexican milk-based drink). We were focused on ordering off the menu and only belatedly realized what an amazing buffet spread they have! It had everything you can imagine and the manager let me sample the chicarron (excellent). We wish we'd done the buffet, and will definitely aim for Cavillo's the next time we're passing through Alamosa.   "After being on the road for a few days and having to choke down sub-par gas station and hotel coffee, I was so happy to get a great cup of brew from here! They also have a large selection of loose leaf teas that I definitely plan on sampling my next time in!! Well worth the stop!!!"
