  "We made a reservation at Zeller after the reviews on Tripadvisor. The restaurant is on a very unassuming street and at first we thought we were lost. When we entered we found a cosy, thoughtfully decorated restaurant with a modern flair. The owner (i think) welcomed us with a delicious elderflow..."er champagne which he explained was made from their vineyard - we ordered another bottle! The restaurant is completely family run, with produce from their farm. Delicious food and great service. As we ate meals at other restaurants in Budapest in the days following, we wished they were as fresh and contemporary as the meals we had at Zeller. My only suggestion would be to change the music selection - the CD that was playing during dinner was mellow elevator music...on a Saturday night. The service was exceptional - it was very obvious that this family is passionate about what they do. I certainly recommend this restaurant and if we are in Budapest again, will be returning! " More >

  "We had heard about the ruin pubs in Budapest and that Szimpla Kert was the most popular but I didn't really know what to expect. What a place! Go for a drink, or two, and make sure to explore all of the rooms."
