What it is though is a great place to pop in, sit at the bar and pick whatever sushi you like from the train that pulls the plates around. On a number of days of the week, they had a $3/plate special where all of the sushi, whatever plate you chose was $3. Now in London, that would be cheap, here in Surfers, that's really dead cheap. The prices have no reflection on quality either, don't think that reasonably priced means crap food, it doesn't or at least here it doesn't. Again don't come here expecting some kind of sit down, paper screen walled, Geisha girl experience, it is what it is, a fun place to come and fill up on decent quality, reasonably priced sushi. Staff are attentive and will go out of their way to make sure everything goes well (we had a drinks mix up, but it was no problem to fix...) This visit we had buffalo chicken wings and then ribs followed by sticky date pudding. Everything was delicious and tender and tasty. Try to leave some space for the sticky date pudding. It's our favorite, and one of the nicest you'll taste. The only downside is that maybe the cost is a little on the expensive side, but then again the quality is good, and we usually visit for special celebrations.
