  "The food at Il Porto is very good, well cooked and lots of it. I ordered the seafood salad followed by frito misto, expecting a small salad starter and the usual frito misto plate I had had in Britain. I nearly fell off my seat when the salad arrived, in about ten different bowls and plates, so many..." they wouldn't all fit onto the table at the same time. Easily enough for two if not three people. Then the frito misto arrived. It was vast. Never mind the neatly cut up bits of fish and prawns, this one had whole fish in it, three of them about 12cm long as well as giant prawns, octopus, baby squid, other fish, and all sorts of other delicious things. The second time we went I chose more carefully and still couldn't finish my meal. Excellent value. The only problem is that the restaurant lacked atmosphere, however we did visit in February so it may be a different case during the holiday season. " More >

There is all you'll need: a bathroom, and a bedroom with seating possibilities. I found it good that there are airconditioners in ev..."ery room. We didn't need them, but later in the year they will be essential I'm sure. The staff was super friendly and ready to help. The food was simply delicious. It is a highend mixture of traditional Italien and modern cuisine. We loved it. As it is situated in the countryside it is absolutely peaceful and quiet, exept for the occasional call of a donkey or such. The Agriturismo has many animals, such as buffalos, chicken, a group of ponies, donkeys and horses, as well as goats. The good thing is: you don't smell them and you hardly ever hear them. So they are a lovely addition rather than a disturbance, as some might see it. All in all I can only recommend you to spend some days... " More >
