If you leave here hungry you've either fallen out with the owners (Lovely people) or youre a glutton! In any case, the "Saiblingsfilet" (Trout) is to be recommended, as are all the salads, and Irene's home baked cakes.   "The reason we went there : a birthday on Monday when everything else around is closed. Very clean restaurant with nice cloth napkins and good but not romantic or charming atmosphere. There is an evening menue which sounds nice and most of it was very nice. Beef tartare was nice and hand cut - portio..."n was not too big but in my opinion too much of the Fink vinegar veggies for deco. It is daring to offer Sepia and shrimp so far in the country side - but it was okay. I really liked the service, one of the owners worked himself that evening. Funny enough the signature dish of the region, a pumpkin seed oil salad with fried chicken was the least appealing (no vinegar in dressing and fried too long). I would definetely recommend the restaurant if you are in the area but do not expect michelin stars, good solid cooking trying to please all kinds of guests. - Service is once again very attentive and in my opinion on a higher level than the foods served, but very good for food is still way above...
