  "We had been booked there by our Lisbon hosts and with the additional recommendation of other resident Portuguese friends. The place is definitely not the Bairro Alto typical fado bar. This elegant restaurant that seems designed for tourists doesn't breathe the Bairro Alto spirit... until the lights ..."are dimmed and silence imposes itself for what we, although not being specialists, believe was high quality fado. Then an ambiance impregnated with melancholy will give you the goose bumps this music can generate. On the food side, the restaurant serves a well done food, but not Michelin star. Yes it is relatively expensive but, contrary to most establishments around, no surprise on the bill. All is included. And a first class service. Which certainly makes it one of the best options to listen good fado in the best conditions and finally at a reasonable price. Or else half of the attendance would not have been Portuguese.
