"always extremely popular, especially with the locals, don't let the "snack bar" name put you off. There is indoor and mostly outdoor seating and the food and drink is great and very reasonably priced. This restaurant is right in the busy pedestrianised streets of the old part of town, so there's alw..."ays a vibrant atmosphere. The owners will also be very accommodating to get you a seat if you're a large party (as we often are) or have any special requests. We have eaten there dozens of times since we've been coming to Armacao in 2006 and never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

"Visited early may with my boyfriend, it is situated a little off the main strip, quiet lovely resturant, good atmosphere lovely staff and huge menu!
Pizzas are packed with toppings and full of flavour, me and my boyfriend both had different meaty ones which were heavenly! Didnt finish mine so was o..."ffered to take it home in a box :) we had a nice bottle of wine and panacotta (which was AMAZING!) and cost about 35 euros all together :) if we had stayed longer we would definitely have gone again! Owner even arranged our lift home, nothing is too much trouble :)

It's a nice cosy little Italian though, about 50 covers inside and I can see how it would be good on a busy night. The food looked pretty good, although hard to judge from our limited experience. The veg. soup was fine, the melon and smoked ham starter plentiful and tasty. The Margherita pizza was excellent for my taste, thin crisp Romano base, but not too hard and crunchy, spot on really. The Lasagne, although nicely presented, was, at least for my wife's taste, a little bit heavy and stodgy. Coffee strong and the Capaccino seemed more like espresso - hardly any milk and very strong (quite enjoyed it thou...
