The main course was black pork so succulent it doesn't need a knife, it literally falls from the bone and delicately melts on our tongue. The flavour was fabulous. The house wine he served was lovely with every course. You don't choose from a menu, you are served the foods of the day. The setting is picturesque and authentic. There is no menu, in fact the owner is very proud of that. Once you have delighted yourself with these, them main course arrives which is always an oven cooked pork with "esparregao" (cream spinach) and square chips.
