  "We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and had dinner at the restaurant most of the evenings, so we tasted quite a few of the excellent dishes served at the restaurant. The whole team around the Hotel and the restaurant provides great service and the kitchen is also open for special inquiries for food ..."for smaller children. When travelling with children it is also convenient that you can have a long italian dinner at the terrace and still have an overview of the terrace at the hotel room. The restaurant is definately one of the better restaurants of the area and I would also come here if we had not stayed at the hotel. The wine card is excellent and you can find all kind of wines also from outside the region - but of course you'll go for Piemontese wines. I also celebrated my birthday there this year and the Hotel and kitchen arranged for an excellent party, with great food, wines, drinks, service etc. and everyone enjoyed it there.   "Last night I took some American friends to this restaurant. I was a little scared after reading some bad reviews especially considering the price. Upon arriving, a young man greeted us and brought us to a beautifully set table (they even have benches for your purse!) Great panorama but at night you ..."can't see anything. The wine list was incredible and the menu was very interesting! Good choices for people with gluten-free diets and vegetarians (2 out of 4 at our table). They were extremely accomodating and made an entree a starter and added rice to one dish. The servers were very nice! The food was nicely presented but a bit scarce. The portions were small and my filet of fish for 22 euros was measly and plain. I like plain food so I was ok with it but not for the price. We were overall happy with all the dishes but not overly enthused about any of them except the side potato mushroom cake. My ravioli were hard on the edges.
