  "We followed some locals and ate in here on a whim. We ordered a plate of ham, amazing, fried eggplant, good, and fried boquerones, to die for. Lovely service. We would have had dinner here the next day if they had been open on Sundays. Friendly staff and customers. Loved it!!"

  "For the starter I had Salmoro (1 racion). This was good but quite a big portion and it came with two pieces of toasted bread with ham on the side. Ask for 1/2 a racion and You will not get the "side" and a more reasonable portion - quality, not quantity. For the starter I had a glass of Fino Jerez w..."hich was perfect. For the main I had oxtail in a potato cream with truffles. The dish was very rich and needed a wine with good acidity for the balance. I had a red wine from Cádiz (?...) and though it was straight forward, it was honest with the needed tannins. The dessert was a wired combination of carrot, ice and white chocolate. It was eatable but more creative than good. For this dish I had a glass of Pedro Ximenez (PX) from Montilla which as always was sweetness in extreme - but also - as often - more sweet than good.
