  "Wandering around Leipzig for some food we came across the Brauhaus an der Thomaskirche - It had a large outside area and overlooked a fountain - we joked we would be paying more to sit outside and look at water - total opposite ......after looking at the menu we decided to go and get a table inside ..."as lots of locals were heading in and the place looked pretty buzzing. Good atmosphere inside - lots of chit chat and candlelit tables...... We were served very quickly and ordered a karaffe of beer ...........the pills (lighter beer) - very tasty! We also ordered 2 pizzas which were cooked and served quickly - we found the food to be tasty and of good value. The waiting staff were attentive but not over bearing. Ordered another 0.5L beer each and the total bill came to just under 30 Euros which we found to be of great value. As we found the place busy and locals all heading in this is always a good sign.
