  "After reading the reviews I shortlisted this restaurant as one of two typical German cuisine restaurants to visit. When I asked the hotel desk which was the best he replied "Im Fuchshen is the best restaurant in Dusseldorf and has the best beer!" I asked if we needed to book and he was doubtful we ..."would get in without, but offered to ring ahead for us. He informed us that it was not possible to book at this time, they were already full, but would find us a table upon arrival. As the taxi approached the street all the restaurant and bars looked empty except for one... Im Fuchschen which had people spilling out onto the street!!! Always a good sign. Having fought our way through the crowd, we were told we could sit anywhere and promptly found a table. It is typical German tables and bench seating.
