"We went there as a party of 5 for a birthday celebration. Having past this restaurant for years, this was the first time we had been. We will now become regular diners here!
From the moment we arrived we felt we were going to have a great evening. First impressions are of the hand painted landscape..."s adorning the walls and the warm smiles greeting you. Food was excellent, freshly cooked and all our group served at the same time; something which some of the other restaurants in Aberdeen fail on. Nice to be able to hear yourself speak too!
In short, although this restaurant may be a little out of the centre of Aberdeen, it is well worth the extra 5 minutes drive.

"I came here with a party of 4. There are menu items and daily specials. We all ordered the daily special which was a creamy fettucine pasta with Sicilian style sausages, and it was priced at £14 which is normal for Aberdeen. The pasta was cooked to aldente perfection and the sausages were lovely. ..." They have a new head chef from Italy who specialises in pasta. I prefer this restaurant to any other Italian in Aberdeen. To put this into persepctive, Rustico gave me food poisioning last year and does not have pizza on the menu which is sacreligious in terms of Italian restaurant fare. Borsalino pizzas are fresh and authentic like what you would get in Naples. Borsalino is not as loud as Rustico which is always extremely loud and overcrowded (and over-rated). Ciao Napoli is ok, but Borsalino's specials are difficult to beat in terms of quality and local ingredients.
