"Sunday lunchtime and this popular eaterie was packed with families, couples, and even shoppers. Tucked away on Friar street, this was a great find. Cooking is very good quality and ingredients are very fresh and locally sourced where possible. A mixed platter of meats and antipasti was fabulous...."
We all chose pizza for main, which was a surprise to all of us, but they were really tasty and made to individual taste.
Smiling service, delicious home made desserts - a little gem of a place. Go soon but book to avoid being disappointed

"Seems to specialise in sea food, probably because its on the banks of the river, but it's probably furthest away from the sea anywhere in England.
Fish was ok but a bit floppy and overlooked.
Service is very good and location superb on a warm sunny day. "
"Really good food, interesting, fresh, local stuff, and tasty. Taste being something often missing in most eateries these days. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, good at serving. The place was packed and full at 1pm, we just managed to get squeezed in. There were no free tables for another ..."45 mins so folks were turned away. Go for lunch early eg noon or later at 1.30. Although by then some tasty morsels will have gone from the menu. We didn't order the chips but when we saw them delivered to the next table, we placed an additional order...yummy. I liked it because the food choice was interesting and everything was tasty.
