The food was rich but superb. My boyfriend had the crab for starters and enjoyed this. I found there to be a great deal of choice but am pleased that I went with the haddock Kedgeree Risotto with the soft boiled hens egg on top. The waitress was very good in ensuring that I had the egg just as I liked it. Unfortunately it would appear that as I enjoyed this lunch so much, I have forgotten what my boyfriend ordered ;) I do know he enjoyed it though! Antonio took a pleasant interest in all of his customers, not just us, and this really did make it a really nice place to be. The café occupy a small cosy area adjacent to the garden centre. The menu was somewhat limited consisting of baked potatoes, sandwiches, Panini’s, toasties, breakfasts and afternoon teas which has wide selections of homemade cakes. Real loose leaf tea! However, the quality of the food was good and very well presented. The staff were courteous and helpful. For us this was a very enjoyable experience and would recommend anyone to make a visit.
