  "Five of us visited this Tea Room on Saturday lunchtime. It was busy and we thought that we wouldn't get a table but were shown to a back room with a large table that was perfect for us. This was a charming room with an old range type stove and pretty dresser stuffed with old books, etc. The table..."s were brightly covered with jolly flowery table coverings and the whole place evoked a feeling of times gone by. The lady who served us was just lovely, bright and bubbly and very accommodating. We had a range of sandwiches and the homemade soup. All were delicious and we would highly recommend. The best bit though was the delicious homemade cakes. The portions were huge! I had the carrot cake which was probably the best I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend this tea room for it's service, large and delicious portions and lovely atmosphere. " More >
