  "We went here in Nov to celebrate my bosses 60th birthday - there was a few of us so we asked for set meals. They did us selections of starters, selections of curry’s and rice and nans. Was lovely - Their bhajis are to die for! Would definitely recommend and come back again!"

  "Googled and this restaurant/pub came up, seemed our sort of place whilst on a weekend away so booked a couple of weeks before. Seated in the bar area, not restaurant, but that was ok. Lovely menu, bit limited, but think that is better than a huge menu that just equals microwave! I had the steak a..."nd chips which melted in the mouth with a delicous pepper sauce which had a kick without being overpowering, real intense yum flavour. Only six (large) chips so if you have a huge appetite, then perhaps order an extra portion. Partner had sea bass but was tough in the middle not easy to eat! Did send back, but of course chef said he was right and that it was cooked perfectly! Lemon ice cream to follow (home made) and you could really tell it was lemon. Quite pricey. Lovely village. I know you go to a pub/retaurant to eat, but you do have to have to use facilities. I thought in a eatery of this calibre they would be nice, but you have to venture outside and use loos that are cold, mouldy ... " More >
