  "We had booked to go to a show at the BIC. The Crab opens at 17.30 and offers a great set menu for a pre show supper. The staff were slick and the service efficient without being hurried. The Crab managed to maintain an atmosphere of sophistication whilst serving customers with a really good value f..."or money 3 course meal in time for the BIC opening doors at 19.00. There was a good choice on the fixed price set menu. The starters were obviously all ready to go at 5.30 so I would say that our only criticism was that the fishcakes we chose were a bit luke warm. Otherwise everything was fine and the portions just right for a pre-show supper. You definitely need to book well in advance, as people were being turned away, and there are not many nearby alternatives. The pianist needs more practice! " More >
