The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant though so I didn't feel bothered to the point of holding a grudge. My soup starter was delicious but was perhaps a touch cooler than I'd like. My husband had a breaded soft shelled crab that looked impressive but he felt it either tasted too breaded or like over cooked crab.   "Walked in on a Friday night and the bar was full of locals and holiday makers - all made very welcome. The bar food was excellent. Tried the local Exmoor beer – very good. We highly recommend this bar and restaurant. In the peak season you will need to book for the restaurant."
