"We were in town visiting friends looking for a new spot to eat. Our friends recommended harbourstone at the Marriott. A funky new space with slick finishes and atmosphere. Fueled by the lobby buzz we were excited to order from a cocktail list that features classic and fun drinks using fresh juices...." What a difference! Our server led us through the various menu choices with lots of fresh oysters, line caught fish, local sharable items so we decided to order several plates. You can tell everything is made fresh and things we ordered like lamb sliders, fried clams and a variety of oysters served with a sauce u could buy at the gift shop were to die for. Things were so great we had to try the desserts, what flavor and fun presentation. Prices are very reasonable. The bill even came in this little rock as a tip of the hat to their name. Clever. With fantastic service and world class food I have to give harbourstone full marks. Your on par with the best spots in toronto! well done.

My daughter and I had the $49 prix fixe dinner - the mussel/salad bar, halibut in a red curry sauce with couscous (for me) and the 'turf and surf' for my daughter - a 4 oz beef fillet, a small lobster tail and a seafood cake. We both had the double brownie dessert. Excellent food, excellent presentation and totally delicious. My husband had a selection from the main menu, the lobster thermidor. Again, excellent. The wine list is comprehensive and interesting (we had a 2009 Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, $89, scrumptious). Our server, Sherri, was delightful. She was...
