"We went to cozumel for a day off our cruise. We went on a snorkelling trip and after we asked the guide where he recommended a nice beach. He suggested the money bar and even dropped us off right at the dock.
We had quesadillas and burritos (one chicken one shrimp). The burritos were the best bu..."rritos we have ever had. They were huge too. Neither my husband nor I like guacamole and we loved this one. I wish I had the recipe! The pico was also great!.
After lunch we had drinks on the beach in the lounge chairs at no extra cost. Beautiful setting, great food and drinks (pina colada and Cadillac margaritas), and a nice beach. Highly recommend this spot!

"This version of Jimmy's take on Island life is on the main seafront street of Cozumel, just outside the main shopping area. A short walk from the old cruise terminal but a 10$ taxi from the new terminal. Vouchers given away on the street for a free margarita sounded too good to be true and they were...". The free Margarita was a micro-rita served in a shot glass and contained a blue sweet fluid that had nothing in common with that frozen concoction. C'mon Jimmy, we can do better than that. Merchandising opportunity (shop to you and me) excellent, but could not process credit card or bank card so no Jimmy T for me (Sad, so I will just have to go back again...).
Overall the service was OK, food exc...

Le Chef was already on our list of restaurants to try on this visit to Cozumel and T & D were excited to meet us there to share their last ni..."ght on the island.
Thus, happy to be included by some cool new friends on their last night, we happily made our way to Le Chef at the corner of Calle 5ta and Avenida 5ta (5th Street and 5th Ave.) in downtown San Miguel. At our lovely outdoor sidewalk table on the corner, we were greeted by our new friends and our smiling waiter Manuel, who immediately took our drink order and had wonderful, fresh-baked and crusty bread & butter on the table. We started out ordering a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for the table along with margaritas ordered by the ladies. The margaritas were delicious and the S/B was very decent and at a reasonable price...we were off to a great start!
We were all enjoying ...
