"Had the basic teppanyaki menu with fresh tastes in every course. Cost was 14,490 yen for two with two glasses of wine and one shochu. Began with crab salad, a nice helping of fresh crab with roe on lettuce. Sea urchin with egg and rice followed, then grilled tuna, then grilled abalone. The live abal..."one in the shell was placed on the grill when we first arrived, so if you're squeamish, don't watch. If that wasn't enough, the grilled foie gras with grilled daikon was heaven. A little bite of fresh tomato was an interlude before the beef, which was so marbled that I needed a bit of wasabi to cut the richness. It melted in your mouth. Sautéed shrimp with rice and Japanese pickles formed the base of the soup that followed. Dessert was freshly made ice cream with fruit. Tea was also served at the end of the meal. A great ending to five days in Tokyo. P.S. We enjoyed sitting at the grill, but there are booths and tables as well.

"The restaurant is on the third floor of a building next to Uniclo in Ginza. There is no outside view, but there is no need as you will be captured by the chef's ability cooking in front of you. The main dish (sirloin or filet, of the tender choice) is anticipated by a series of small dishes of fish ..."and salads prepared in front of the guest and beautifully garnished. The dessert is extraordinary as well. A fantastic dinner.

"This was my first place to eat and drink after arriving in Japan.
Jet lagged and tired, it was great to just sit back, relax, look out over the city for the first time and have a nice, well deserved glass of wine.
Be sure to try the crab cakes!"
