"My wife and I stopped off in Inca on the way to Palma airport. We decided to have lunch in gent d'art. We both had the menu del dia and were very pleased with our food and the value. Free wifi also. Recommended!"
"Inca (about 30 minutes from Palma on the train) has a huge Thursday morning market and as we wanted to try Joan Marc restaurant after reading all the fantastic reviews we decided to go to the market and have lunch in the restaurant and what a treat it was. It was one of the best meals we have had..." in Majorca and we have been coming here for 14 years. The restaurant is modern, stylish and comfortable to sit in. The shortish menu has a choice of starters, fish course, meat course and desert course. They are all half portions (very generous ones) and they suggest you try one of each but you don't have to to as they are all individually priced. The risotto with clams and spinach and cheese pie was outstanding and everything that followed was just as delicious.
We noticed on the wine list a local white merlot which we found intriguing as we have only had red merlot. It was a really unusual, interesting and delicious wine which we would have again if we could find it.

"We were attracted by this Celler's menu of the day - at 9.95 a real bargain. It's in Spanish or Mallorquian on a blackboard outside, and you'll need to memorize it a bit if you speak English, as only the main (rather expensive) menu is in English inside. We had the lentil potage, which was wonderful...", filled with chorizo and black pudding and delicately spiced. They left the tureen on the table in case we wanted more. This was followed by pork chops with ratatouille - don't know the Mallorquian name for it, again a really good dish. A half litre carafe of local red wine was 4.95, the sevice was friendly and I'd recommend it to anyone.
