  "Located in the old town, "Casco Antiguo" not far from the market square but difficult to find nevertheless, is this elegant, stylish modern restaurant, more typical of a city than a rural village, charming though Pedreguer is. We had the menu del dia which comprised an amuse bouche followed by three..." starters ( veal carpaccio, very small fish fry with battered pepper strips and a salad of chicken tomatoes and leaves ) followed by sole en paupiette and then a dessert of egg custard with fruits of the forest and ice cream. All the dishes were refined, beautifully cooked and presented and the service was great. All this, including a bottle of house wine ( an unfamiliar to us blend of Chardonnay and moscatel which was not at all sweet) for €16 per person. Add in a large bottle of mineral water, and 2 coffees, the bill was € 36.20 if I remember correctly. So, even with a tip € 20 per head or £ 18!!! Delicious food recommended without hesitation.   "I have been to this restaurant a few times now and it never fails to impress , the food and service are excellent with four starters and a chose for the main meal . This restaurant is not easy to find and parking is a little difficult but it is well worth the effort"
