  "Not to be missed restaurant for fish lovers"
  "There are two things which make this restaurant a jewel, Enzo and Dino and Fish! We visited two times this first week of January 2013. On entering the restuarant, you are very warmly welcomed by Dino the younger brother of Enzo. Being a first time we left the order to the wise expertise of Dino. ..." We were served a spaghetti con vongole as a starter which was divine. Afterwards we had a whole dish of king prawns and when I say King prawns they were the biggest and tastiest I ever saw! Swordfish and a vast array of other tasty fish fare. All was heavenly! Last but not least we were served a lemon based gelso which was delicious rounding everything with an espresso.   "This time around we wanted to celebrate New Year 2013 different from other previous New Year, so we decided to spend the last days of 2012 and the first days of 2013 in Ispica. Since we were strangers to the place and locals we decided to go for the Capodanno Cenone at Il Mercato. And what a good ..."idea it was! Corrado is the new Chef since last Dec 7th 2012 and he has brought the ideas and staff of Locando di Monsu' with him. We went for the whole menu which consisted of a buffet consisting of local delicacies such as grana padano cheese, acciughe, ricotta with prawn nibbles and a vast array of other finger food. This was followed by a full new years eve dinner which was a degustazione of some of the best food on offer in the south east of Sicily ending with Midnight lentils and cotechino.
