  "My husband and I visited Al Checciano recently and were very impressed. Reservations are a must here, so we made ours a week early. Unlike most Japanese restaurants, they asked about food allergies at the reservation time. As I have some minor allergies this was a very nice touch for me. The fo..."od was amazing. We had a wonderful meal with the set menu. We had carpaccio, risotto, salad, and the pasta of our choice, plus local beef. Two types of dessert were brought to the table so my husband and I could taste a bit of each others. Coffee or herbal tea rounded out our meal. Many of the ingredients came from the local area so freshness is a given. The service was generally good. The only negative thing about the evening was the drinks we were offered early on, weren't included in the meal, they were charged on top of the set price.
