Best bet in Selkirk

Food was good, my friend had liver and onions...huge portion...enough for 2 people. I had garden veggie sandwich w/ fries. Service was excellent...very enjoyable and well worth the drive from winnipeg. Definitely will stop in again when driving thru Selkirk.

Excellent fish & chips, excellent liver & onions, excellent Taco Salad. Fantastic desserts. We go here often and always enjoy. Make a reservation, then you get to sit down right away instead of waiting. There's always a line up

the food is ok, but not as good as it used to be. The service was almost nonexistent. I don't recommend this restaurant any more.

This has become my favourite meeting spot whenever I visit Selkirk. A cute restaurant with roomy seating, a non-cliché menu, with portion sizes that will fill you up. Try the desserts, but be prepared to ask for a doggy bag. Conveniently located on Main St. Washrooms are on the lower lever (no elevator). Small parking lot in the back. If... More

excellent value..specialties served quickly and hot Enjoy always the fish and chips. the steak sandwich and the liver smothered in onions. My wife enjoys her salads .. Desserts are gigantic, but we rarely have one because meals are so filling.. Lacks handicap access- but location limits expansion so not likely to happen in near future.

Was very disappointed to find out this Selkirk main stay has no handi-cap accessibility for its patrons i.e. no wheel chair access at entrance or for washrooms (in basement). While I ave dined here in the past and enjoyed it, life circumstances are that we can now only frequent places that are handi-cap accessible. I got there to see there... More

Love the homemade pies and cakes. Just awesome. Food is your average north american fare. Parking can be an issue around the area.
