Excellent!

We had the crab cake and the octopus entrees which were so amazing. I had the shrimp and grits, which was a complete culinary experience, it was spicy but not too spicy, just right! The wine selection was good with many affordable wines on their list. Desert was the beignet which was great, my... read more

We came to this restaurant with high expectations, having read all the rave reviews on this site and others, and having seen it featured on the local news. After many failed attempts (albeit last minute) to get a reservation on a Saturday, we were able to get in on a Friday evening without difficulty. As we both love Cajun style... More

Had supper here with some girl friends. We found the food to be absolutely terrific. Shared some appetizers....ceviche, crab cakes and grilled octopus. All of which were delicious. The octopus was especially great and was served over black rice. I ordered the grilled scallops. They were tender and delicious. I would go back and order the same thing since I... More

The food was pricey but most of the party of six found the taste accepable. I has seared scallops which tasted very fishy, either under cooked and/or stale dated. I have been to New Orleans several times and always enjoyed Cajan food. I had consulted their web site before making reservations. The wine list was complete and accepable. The wine... More

I am not really sure what to say about this restaurant, service was good, meal was terrible and chef much tooooooo slow. We started with the grilled octopus, which was not grilled and way too salty. As a matter of fact all the dishes we had were way too salty. I am not quite sure why people are raving about this restaurant,as far... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We truly value the opinions of our customers and we apologize that we did not meet your expectations. Please note all of the food we serve is prepared a la minute, nothing is sitting in warmers, and it takes a little time to put some dishes together, we pride ourselves... More

We've eaten at Bistro Nolah numerous times, for lunch and dinner, and have never been disappointed. We've also been to New Orleans numerous times, and can attest to the authenticity of many of the dishes on the menu. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, the time and care that goes into the preparation of each menu item is evident... More

Just tried this West Island bistro last week. Firstly, the service was excellent; I had booked a table for two, but then called to add a third person. They were fully booked and mentioned that we may have to sit at the bar. But about an hour later they called me back to advise that they had been able to... More

Every time that I go to Bistro Nolah, it is just a wonderful experience. Just thinking of the restaurant makes me salivate. To begin, the ambiance is wonderful! The waiters and waitresses are elegantly dressed. Tasteful black dress for the waitresses and suit and tie for the waiters. The food is AMAZING! Every bite is a joy and I savour... More

The food is so good here, it should be illegal. It was my second time at Nolah last week. The first time, I was totally awed by the fried oysters, so perfect, they didn't even taste like oysters. The desert, not always on the menu, was a banana mousse with a buttery and sweet bourbon topping. Totally to die for!!!... More
