Surprisingly amazing!

From the service to the food that was prepared it's safe to say we were all more than happy. New Orleans style bistro a hidden gem and a must!

Our family went Friday night and with all of us choosing different appetizers and main courses, we had a good selection from which to judge. Everything was totally deadly. This may sound exagerated but I was just hugely impressed. This restaurant is on the 'west island' not downtown and therefore may not attract too many typical tourists. But if you... More

Tucked away in the Blue Haven complex we found Bistro Nolah to be a refreshing change to the typical fare that is served up across the suburban landscape. All of our dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and executed perfectly. The grilled octopus was sublime. We had ceviche, fresh seasonal salad and crab cakes - all was thoroughly enjoyed. The... More

I love to eat out and Nolah was suggested by my gf's sister. Oh i am so glad she did, the setting is nice, a tad small but as long as its good - that's the main thing. Sausage and grits to start - amazing, then duck confit which was excellent ! Cant wait to get back to Nolah in... More

Living in the West Island for 20 years and our first visit to Nolah was amazing! I had the blackened catfish and my husband had the Jambalaya. They started us off with their homemade hush puppies and we also shared the grilled octopus with black rice. Everything was delicious. A bit on the pricier side. And I would say leave... More

We went to Bistro Nolah for the first time last night to celebrate my birthday. I was so impressed with the service and the food. We started off with some delicious drinks. I had the Hurricane. We were served hush puppies and they were so delicious. We ordered several appetizers. We had the grilled octopus, the ceviche, and some blackened... More

Went with my wife and very close couple friends of ours. Had passed by the restaurant for years and never batted an eyelash at the place. Finally decided to go and wow, what an amazing discovery ! Could be now one of our favorite new restaurants. Collectively, we started with fresh delicious oysters, then moved on to Cajun mussels, Cajun... More

Food was fantastic, portions were generous. Wine was reasonable. Service was great. I'd go back anytime, this is a real little gem. The taste, quality and freshness of the ingredients along with a talented chef adds up to awesome!

We chose this restaurant as a weekday date night one evening. We made reservations and got seated right away. The place is tiny, so make reservations. The ingredients were fresh, the portions were ok, the presentation was nice but I just didn't love the food. Maybe I had high expectations, I don't know but I wouldn't go back again for... More

What a gem! The food is absolutely delicious first and foremost. The staff is aware of what is gluten free and what is not. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny. The creole mussels should be offered daily and the blackened catfish is one of the best meals I have ever had. Cannot wait to go back!
