Lovely cakes

Had coffee and cakes for five of us. All were super. Next to the coffee shop is a bar, shop and B & B. Lovely scenery. Well worth a visit

We stumbled upon this quaint restaurant on Inch Beach while driving along the Dingle peninsula. We were stunned at the beauty of the area and were really excited to eat right on the beach. The service was great, the food was delicious and reasonably priced and we had a table at the window to look out while we ate. They... More

The restaurant is right on the beach, nice views and seems to be a popular place. It's a nice place to sit and visit, good atmosphere. The food was so-so. I had the fish and chips, it looked great, but the batter was crisp on the outside and soggy on the inside. My wife just had soup and salad and... More

Stopped by for a drink at Sammy's while driving through Kerry. Friendly staff and wonderful setting, with stunning views across the bay to the mountains in the unseasonable April sunshine. Didn't try the food, but judging by the crowds of people eating, it is definitely a popular beach destination. If you are a surfer, this seems to be the place... More

We found Sammy's to have a classy feel, with corresponding prices, but the food and service were not quite up to par. The food was not bad, but we all felt that it wasn't worth the price. We were very happy to find that Foley's Pub just down the street was back in season for dinner service and better enjoyed... More

We ordered the house burgers and boy were they tasty. Cheese, bacon, homemade ketchup, chips, slaw and salad. This is quite a meal for lunch, but every bite was DELICIOUS!! The views from the cafe are also great, overlooking the beach and ocean. We visited on a highly stormy day, but that just made the experinece more memorable.

What a treat to stop along the Dingle Way for such delicious food. We would have been happy to just get out of the mist and have something warm, but encountered some of the best food in our trip to Ireland. Best seafood chowder: fresh, flavorful, not overly thickened with potato or flour. Amazing cheesecake, and other desserts. Everything was... More

Nice selection of food and desserts. Staff were pleasant and the food was nice. Large pots of tea and generous portions of food. Highly recommended.

We found Sammy's very uninspiring, the owner more interesting in tapping his laptop, the staff were in training. The only reason for having a coffee here (which was very bitter – yuk) was to warm us up, plus the amazing view of Inch Beach which cannot be compared to any other beach I know. But no-one said good bye when... More

Hi SaveTheBees, Really, really sorry that Sammy's didn't leave a good impression with you. Genuinely we really do try, but no excuses from our side if you caught us on a bad day. All we can say is that we will try harder. We'll immediately investigate why the coffee wasn't right for you on the day, and will meet with... More

After a bracing walk on Inch beach Sammy's is the place to stop awhile and take in the views over a warm cuppa and beautiful scones.
