Called here today after a long walk on one of the best beaches in Ireland. Staff were fine, coffee was excellent, hot chocolate got the thumbs up from the younger people. The cakes were just out of this world. We also had toasted specials, which, while could have been hotter, were very good and served with chips, salad and coleslaw.... More

We arrived late in Dingle and were told to go to Sammy's as they serve food late. We walked in and it was so full we had to sit at the bar. Mark the very friendly barman served us and we got to meet Mr Hussein too, who was friendly but not overtly, loved the food, service AND the sticky... More

Popped in, on spec, after a stroll on the beach on Tuesday, July 22. Our daughter has significant allergy issues so we checked, on arrival, if they could cater for her. A brief chat with the owner reassured us that nothing would be a problem and whatever specific needs we had would be catered for once we informed our server.... More

Have often dined in sammys over the years as we are regular visitors to the area. We have found it to be a very friendly venue,,mostly family run,,with excellent friendly efficient staff. The food is always of an excellent standard and reasonable prices. The view from here has to be seen to be believed. I would highly recommend it to... More

Dropped in for a hot chocolate and traybake. Home made desserts very nice but pricey enough at 4.25 euro. Hot chocolate was 2.75 euro. Service was good. It was very busy when we were there. Overall chocolate fudge cake was good.

Inch Strand in Co Kerry, Ireland, is one of the longest jaw dropping, dramatic acres of strand and sea-fresh breaking Atlantic waves in all of Ireland. Overlooking same in what has to be one of the great world locations of 'best restaurant backdrops' is Sammy's restaurant. The first thing to be said is that it is split into two separate... More

Very tasty food cooked perfectly with a gorgeous view to boot. Creamy chicken pasta and a sirloin steak with trimmings.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of Sammy's. They serve the best pint of Guinness I've ever had and I could eat the garlic mussels and crab claws until I burst. Such a beautiful location. Such lovely people. If you're in the area, you have to visit. If you're within an hour or two's commute - you still have... More

I simply love this place- the no fuss attitude, the view, the location, the homely feel, the friendly staff...........you can tell this place is a family run joint and it feels it- and I love that! Most restaurants these days arent owner managed- and you can tell...........the friendliness isnt there in them- the engaging conversations we had with Mahmood and... More
