Lovely setting with a beautiful outlook. We chose the set lunch ( $100 for 2 people) good value. Lunch was pleasant without being anything special however we had to wait for over an hour for our mains and lunch took over 2 hours.

It's been a long long time since I was last at Flutes. My memory, way back then, was of a pretty classy place. But back then there was also something about the attitude we encountered which left me cold - a specific incident which rather got under my skin, and caused me not to return. However it was time to... More

Lovely picturesque location, staff were friendly and attentive and food was amazing. I was in a party of 6 for a three course meal... Sensational. Each one of us left extremely full and we all enjoyed our meals. Will definitely return when in the area next.

I was lucky enough to have my husband surprise me for Mothers Day and take me here for lunch. Our booking was for 11.30 but we where a bit early so did a bit of wine tasting before heading to the restaurant. Very lovely lady behind the cellar door who provided loads of information on the wines but with no... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch. Staff were friendly and attentive, weather was perfect for an outside meal and the food...so lovely. We had a soup of the day, seafood platter, followed by the signature trio and venison who was cooked to perfection. We ordered wine recommended for each dish and we were not disappointed. It's is on a pricy... More

Poor service altogether. Cellar door server was rude and failed to make any type of warm effort with any of the budding wine tasters at her counter. Little knowledge of the wine (or simply a failure to engage with customers). Cheese board was really nice at flutes however again, staff were in such a rush they were unwilling to chat... More

we stumbled upon this lovely place.....the gardens are just so beautiful and the restaurant is overlooking a lake and vineyards. But unfortunately for us we had to wait soooooo long to be served. The food was ok but not spectacular but the service was just so poor. You could see they were understaffed and too many patrons to take care... More

A tranquil entry with manicured gardens and vines, set on a small dam/lake is a beautiful backdrop for lunch. The service was great, the food expensive but delicious. Wine to compliment the food was very good. Set price 3 course menu for$100 for two, plus wine was available, but we went a la carte. Tasty +++

Disappointing. They made a huge fuss over how the menu specials would be billed and wouldn't accept entertainment card- not a welcoming start. waiter spilled red wine over table at the beginning and didn't wipe it up. It wasn't busy but they sat us outside the kitchen doors. Food was no better than a pub, for how much it cost... More

Went to Flutes on the weekend for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. we had a lovely meal, the entrée was perfect. Sitting outside we had the whole deck to ourselves. The waiter was thoughtful & efficient. It has a gorgeous setting and very quiet.
