Get ready for a huge burger

PJ's was quiet when we stopped for a late lunch. We each ordered a burger and fries and were quite surprised at how big these delicious burgers were. Not sure why we were surprised, they were described at being 1/2 pounders. PJ's is a pub style restaurant with peanuts in the shell on the tables... read more

During peak summer times you can't even get near this place, but towards the end of September we found parking in the lot and the place was virtually empty at dinner time. The waitress was super nice. The peanuts were a fun touch. I ordered the popper burger and it was made medium, just how I ordered it, and it... More

Best burger and cheese curds in the area. Old building, but nice view of little lake. This was a great find and surprisedly very good food. Old buildings make it feel like the seventies and peanut shells on the floor lend a casual charm. Waitress was fast and efficient and with a smile.

We thought PJs looked like the perfect rustic burger restaurant, with waterfront views, and several topping options for the burgers we were craving. Sadly, this place took over 55 min to prepare and top 4 frozen burger patties along with frozen fries. When we asked why the meals where taking so long, the waitress did not even apologize, but just stated... More

This was in Arbor Vitae, WI not Eagle River. Great burger, GREAT cole slaw-wow! Fun atmosphere, great bartendar. Very small, so get there early. We ate with 3 teens, they got burgers, the Westerns & one Sticky Burger-AWESOME. Hubby and I had the fish with baked potatoes. Outstanding. Great staff.

My two niece's and son and I got burgers oh my, the burgers were good and juicy. My youngest son ordered a choose 3 appetizer... More

Stopped by for a burger and was pleasantly surprised. The hamburgers were huge and the menu boasted several different variations from your standard to the mildly hot to flaming. Ordered the cheese curds appetizer. Most places give you 5 or 6, but this was like a whole bag full! Prices were reasonable as well.

Ok, some folks won't like this place at all. Plywood floors.......peanuts on the table and shells on the floor. Big horseshoe shaped bar and very noisy. A rowdy north woods place. The menu is essentially burgers......huge burgers...and pizza. The place can make just about any burger you can imagine; i had the green chili version and I like it a... More
